Mentoring differs from training, it is more about guidance than instruction and is often linked to working towards a qualification or other goal. Andrew has mentored many people to qualification levels up to Master Craftsman with the Guild of Photographers, Fellowship level with other organisations. At any one time he has up to 6 photographers on his Intensive Mentoring Programme (IMP). The IMP is individually tailored to each photographer but typically includes on-line and in person image critique sessions, joint shooting opportunities and help with final assessment of panels before submission. For more information email and directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why not start with a 30 minute on-line portfolio review? Andrew will go through 10 of your images with you suggesting areas that need attention. This introductory session is currently only £25.
Standard 40 minute mentoring session £60, half price for APT silver and gold members just £30 per session.
IMP - Intense Mentoring Programme
At any one time I have up to 6 students on my IMP. During the six months we have monthly Skype calls and two days shooting or editing together. Most of my mentees use this as a way to work towards qualifications. If you are interested in joining this scheme please message me and I will arrange a phone call to discuss your requirements.

Andrew explained a number of techniques in a full and easily understandable way. I was able to apply those techniques throughout the session, with Andrew on standby if it started to go wrong, but it didn't. I have come away from that session with a lot more knowledge that I can't wait to get out and use.
If you are looking for training to take you up the next level or two then get in contact with Andrew. I can't recommend him highly enough. Mel Pettit
